If you would like to expand your fly fishing experience into the world of Spey casting, this workshop is your entry ticket. This workshop will provide you with the proper starting point to launch your new two-handed casting career. Chris will help you understand the mechanics behind the unique Spey cast and show you how to use it to expand your presentation to new lengths in tough casting positions. Please come and sign-up for Chris’s workshop and learn or improve your Spey casting from one of the most accomplished Spey instructors in the Spey casting world.
Chris’s interest in Spey casting took off, by necessity, in 2017 when he was hired as a Design Engineer at RIO Products in Idaho Falls. He found myself working for the most recognizable and innovative Spey brand in the world and had never held a two-handed rod! What started as a crash course in unfamiliar equipment and techniques has grown into an obsession. Now the Director of Product Development at RIO, he enjoys every moment spent designing new Spey products, and especially the moments spent testing them out on the water or introducing new Spey casters to the sport.
