Dave was originally from West Texas. He started fishing as soon as he could walk. Moving around from Tennessee, New Orleans, and then Miami for 30 years, he was able to fish many different types of waters. After retiring in 2010, from a long career in Veterinary surgery and neurology, he moved to Park City Utah, where his fly fishing obsession was underway, logging 160 days on the water that first year.  He served as the President of High Country Fly Fishers and work with Project Healing Waters and Casting for Recovery.   He ties at most of the shows around the western U.S. Recently, he relocated to Hamilton Montana.  He has been affiliated with Norvise, Semperfli, Umpqua and Moonlit. Please come and join Dave for unique fly tying experience.
