Scott Sanchez is regarded as one of the country’s most innovative fly tiers, with his tying sessions providing entertainment for all. Scott has been teaching fly tying since the early age of 14 and has been working in the industry for the last thirty years tying flies commercially, guiding, helping with video productions, writing articles, and serving as the fly tying editor for Fly Fisherman magazine. In 2010 he received the coveted FFF Buz Buszek Memorial Fly Tying Award. Scott is fishing manager and fly tying guru for High Country Outfitters in Jackson Wyoming (www.highcountryflies.com), which features many of his effective and unique flies.
